Police authorities arrested a Florida man on Wednesday after he dumped a homemade pipe bomb in a car wash trash can.
Florida Man Dumped a Homemade Pipe Bomb
A Florida man identified as Anthony Ray West, 58 years old and works as an electrical engineer, was arrested after his wife reported that he was making a homemade pipe bomb. It was found that the couple is going through a divorce and West left his wife’s home with bomb materials.
In a published article in FOX News, the Florida man left the homemade pipe bomb in a car wash trash can after his wife told him that authorities are on their way to investigate the bomb. He got panicked and immediately found a way to dump the bomb.

Florida Man Confessed About the Homemade Pipe Bomb
According to a published report in WFLA, the Florida man confessed and admitted that he made the homemade pipe bomb and dumped it in a car wash trash can. However, he also told the investigators that he did not intend to hurt anyone.
The Florida man described it to police as a “piece of galvanized pipe filled with black powder and secured with two endcaps and a fuse,” CBS12 reports.
Furthermore, police authorities posted on their social media account, “When deputies made contact with West in his room in Edgewater, they searched the duffel bags and noticed the pipe bomb was missing.”
