Anaheim, CA – In a heartbreaking turn of events, two men have been arrested in connection with the death of a 63-year-old man found inside a motel room in Anaheim earlier this week.
Anaheim police responded to a call around 10:15 a.m. on Monday to the Akua Motor Inn, located at 1018 E. Orangethorpe Ave. Upon arriving, officers discovered Christopher David Craddick, a resident of Anaheim, with “obvious signs of traumatic injury.” Despite efforts to provide medical assistance, Craddick was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Office later confirmed his identity. Detectives quickly identified two suspects in the case: 44-year-old Manuel Ramos of Santa Ana and 28-year-old Matthew Kundred, who is homeless. Both were arrested on suspicion of murder, though the details surrounding their involvement remain unclear at this time.
