It’s been an interesting weekend for 53-year-old trainer Brian ‘BoMac’ McIntyre, who was detained in England while attempting to return to the United States after guiding Chris Eubank Jr to a stoppage win over Liam Smith.
According to Sky Sports, McIntyre was caught with a loaded weapon in his baggage by UK Border Force
In a recently report from Bad Left Hook, a search of his luggage uncovered a weapon and a magazine containing ammo. McIntyre was caught right away, and the things were seized. McIntyre has been formally charged with gun possession charges as well as firearm ammunition possession without a certificate. McIntyre was also remanded into jail by a local magistrate after his hearing today, with his next court appearance scheduled for Oct. 9.
BoMac, widely known as Terence Crawford’s head trainer, has had an expanding workload and profile as a result of their success together, but the strategist looks to have made a severe error in judgment if this proves out to be true.

The trainer of Eubank Jr. is suspected of carrying a pistol in his luggage at Manchester Airport
According to the recently published article from The Guardian.com, Chris Eubank Jr’s trainer was accused with possessing a handgun as he prepared to board an aircraft at Manchester Airport. Brian McIntyre appeared before Stockport magistrates court on Monday after the firearm was reportedly discovered in hold luggage, according to Greater Manchester Police. The 53-year-old was remanded in jail and will appear at Manchester crown court on October 9th.the fourbelt era.
McIntyre was in the UK for Eubank Jr’s fight against Liam Smith. In preparation for the bout, the British boxer hired McIntyre as his new coach and made other adjustments to his training regimen.
