A 37-year-old man, Keith Fleurantin, was arrested after allegedly attempting to kidnap a girl near a North Miami-Dade school, leading to a school lockdown. Fleurantin faces multiple charges, including attempted kidnapping, assault, trespassing in a school safety zone, resisting an officer without violence, and luring or enticing a child.
The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon when the victim, a student at Thomas Jefferson Biscayne Gardens K-8 Academy, had just gotten off a bus.
