New SNAP Payments of Up to $1,756 Begin February 1, 2025

Many states will make SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) payments to EBT cards in February 2025. However, in some states, the process will start on February 1 and last for several days or weeks. This means that some beneficiaries may have to wait a little longer to receive their food stamps.

On the other hand, some states will issue all SNAP payments only on February 1, 2025. Alaska is among the states that will issue the largest food stamp checks. Some beneficiaries here may receive more than $1,756, which is the maximum limit for the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia.
