A New York judge has ruled that a civil rape case against Jason Miller, a longtime advisor to President Donald Trump, can proceed, according to reports. The lawsuit was filed by A.J. Delgado, a former attorney for Trump’s campaign, who alleges Miller engaged in a pattern of sexual coercion, rape, assault, abuse, and harassment during their affair in 2016.
Delgado claims that Miller had non-consensual sex with her while she was intoxicated and unable to consent, and that he repeatedly urged her to terminate her pregnancy. She also accuses him of sex trafficking and later pursued child support payments through the courts.
The lawsuit was filed in 2023, and New York Supreme Court Justice Lyle Frank allowed Delgado’s rape allegations to move forward this week. Despite the defense’s argument that Delgado’s claims lacked detail, the judge determined she had provided sufficient information to support the lawsuit.
