LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Suspects involved in a violent 2022 shooting on I-11 could face even harsher penalties after a recent ruling, which allows a Clark County District Court case to move forward with added charges.
The shooting, which took place in May 2022, involved a violent altercation between the Hells Angels motorcycle club and their rivals, the Vagos. Seven individuals were injured during the confrontation, sparking widespread concern.
In December, the Nevada Supreme Court issued a significant ruling declaring the Hells Angels to be a “criminal gang” under state law. This ruling has now led to the addition of a gang enhancement to the indictment filed on Wednesday, which could result in more severe sentencing for those convicted.
The indictment includes several suspects: Stephen Alo, Richard Devries, Russell Smith, Cameron Treich, Taylor Rodriguez, Aaron Chun, and Rayann Mollasgo. If convicted, these individuals could face extended prison sentences due to the gang-related nature of the crime.
As the case progresses, law enforcement officials and the community are watching closely to see how this decision will impact the outcomes for those involved in the violent incident.
