A violent altercation in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood turned tragic Monday evening when a 15-year-old suspect stabbed two other teens, leaving one in critical condition, according to police.
The incident occurred around 5:07 p.m. in the 3500 block of South King Drive, where a fight between two teenage boys, ages 15 and 16, and another 15-year-old suspect escalated into a brutal stabbing.
According to the news, the suspect pulled out a sharp object during the altercation, stabbing both victims before fleeing the scene.
🚨 Victim Conditions:
🔴 A 16-year-old boy suffered a severe stab wound to the neck and was rushed to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.
🟡 A 15-year-old victim was stabbed in the chest and transported to Comer Children’s Hospital, where he is reported to be in good condition.
Following an intense search, officers tracked down the suspect in the 3100 block of South Giles and took him into custody.
