A tragic shooting in Leesville, Louisiana, has left one person dead and two others hospitalized, and now police are searching for the suspect.
The incident happened just after midnight on Sunday, February 9, in the area of South Fifth Street. According to investigators, someone opened fire in the parking lot of a local business, hitting three people. The shooter quickly fled the scene before officers arrived.
All three victims were rushed to a nearby hospital for medical care. Sadly, one of them, identified as 30-year-old Trevon Hairston from Leesville, did not survive his injuries. The other two victims were later transferred to different hospitals for further treatment.
Authorities are still working to find out exactly what led to the shooting and who is responsible. They are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in the investigation.
