Man Fatally Stabbed at Phoenix Bus Stop – Suspect Released as Mystery Deepens

A tragic incident unfolded near downtown Phoenix on Saturday evening, leaving one man dead after a stabbing at a bus stop.

Phoenix police were called to 15th Avenue and Jefferson Street around 7 p.m. after reports of a stabbing. When officers arrived, they found a man who had been seriously injured. He was quickly taken to the hospital, but sadly, he didn’t survive. Authorities later identified him as 43-year-old Walter MacDonald.

Police initially detained a suspect at the scene, but after speaking with witnesses and reviewing evidence, they released him. Right now, it’s unclear if they have another suspect in custody.

The investigation is still ongoing as officers work to piece together what happened. Anyone with information is encouraged to come forward to help bring justice to the case.
