Relatives Complained About the Excessive Force

According to a report published in NBC Connecticut, relatives of Alexander-Garcia filed a complaint against the police officer. Ken Krayeske, attorney of the family, said, “The use of deadly force in this situation was unnecessary, excessive and irresponsible.”

Additionally, another lawyer of the family also said during a press conference that the police officer escalated the situation and did not give Alexander-Garcia clear instructions about what to do to avoid being shot.
