Cincinnati Man Shot and Killed a Pregnant Woman
A Cincinnati man identified as Miquan Barfield shot and killed a pregnant woman of 9 months who was on her way to a yard sale early this month. The incident happened around 5:30 p.m. at the 400 block of Rockdale Avenue where the police authorities responded.
In a published article in TRUE CRIME DAILY, the Cincinnati man was served with an open murder warrant. He was also charged with the following murder charges:
- Felonious assault
- Obstruction of official business
- Assault
- Failure to comply with police
Furthermore, the suspect is now under custody at the Hamilton County Jail. It was also found that he was previously in custody for reckless driving and driving under suspension.

What Happened to the Pregnant Woman?
According to a published report in The Paradise, police found that the pregnant woman identified as Nia Booker arrived at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with a gunshot wound where she also died. Fortunately, the doctors were able to deliver her baby girl.
It was also found during the investigation that her children, ages 7, 8, and 9 were inside the car when the shooting incident happened. It was also her 9-year-old child who called 911 to ask for help.
