Evesham Township Police Department officers removed a child from a house where an alleged 100 dogs were found dead or malnourished.
Police Authorities Removed a Child from a House with Malnourished and Dead Dogs
Police authorities removed a child from Evesham Township residence where dozens of dogs were found dead and malnourished. Police authorities found at least 30 dogs but they believed that there were around 100 dogs and some were buried in the place.
In a published article in FOX News, a witness called and reported to the Evesham Police Department after seeing multiple malnourished dogs on the property. Police immediately raided the property and confirmed that there were dozens of dogs and a child.
Moreover, the child who was found living in poor conditions was taken to New Jersey’s Division of Child Protection & Permanency.

2 Persons Were Charged and Arrested
According to a published article in the Daily Beast, two persons identified as Rebecca Halbach, 35 years old, and Brandon Leconey, 32 years old, were both charged and arrested. Both of them were charged with the following:
- Second-degree endangering the welfare of a child
- Third-degree animal cruelty
It was found that Leconey was transported to jail after the arrest while Halbach was sent to the hospital due to a medical condition before being booked.
