In a recently published article from Property Club, Belmont is Detroit’s most hazardous neighborhood, with high rates of homicides and gunshots each year. Belmont has a crime rate of 14,048 per 100,000 inhabitants, which is 664% greater than the national average.

A resident has a one in eight probability of becoming a victim of any form of crime. In Belmont, gang activity is quite high, and associated crimes like as robberies, assaults, and drug activities are frequent. Belmont’s median house price is $29,300.

Detroit certainly offers something for everyone, from fashionable hipster neighborhoods and polished, upmarket districts to bustling student communities and regions that have seen better days

In a recently published article from Southwest Journal, despite its reputation as one of the best locations to live in the country, due to a strong economy and a wealth of leisure opportunities, not every corner of Detroit is a rose garden. Unfortunately, certain areas do not live up to the city’s overall appeal.

Let’s be honest: not every neighborhood can be a superstar, albeit Indian Village appears to be on the rise. We examined 87 Detroit areas to identify some that might not be the best places to live. These locations appear to fall short of Detroit’s illustrious reputation.
