Certain U.S. state privacy laws — including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA), the Utah Consumer Privacy Act (UCPA), and others — give residents the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of their personal information and of certain targeted advertising.
Billings Pioneer forwards the information you submit through our loan request form to third-party lenders and marketing partners so they can present you with loan offers. Depending on your state, that may qualify as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You have the right to tell us to stop.
How to submit your opt-out request
Fill out the form below using the same details you entered on our loan request form, so we can locate your record and verify your identity.
Authorized agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require written proof of the agent's authority and may still need to verify your identity directly.
What happens after you opt out
- We will stop selling or sharing your personal information with new lending or marketing partners for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Requests we already delivered to lenders before your opt-out may still be processed by those lenders under their own privacy policies — you may need to contact them directly.
- We will still keep the minimum records needed for legal, tax, security, and TCPA/consent audit purposes.
- We will not discriminate against you for exercising this right.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out request for the browser session and, where reasonably possible, for the user account associated with that browser.
Response time
We will confirm receipt of your request within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 days, as required by applicable law. If we need more time, we will let you know why.
