A jury found an Alabama woman guilty of brutally killing a 3-year-old boy using a blunt object.
Alabama Woman Brutally Murdered a 3-Year-Old Boy
Florence Police officers in Alabama were called to the North Alabama Medical Center regarding the death of a 3-year-old boy identified as Kaiden Garner in 2020. The father’s boy is identified as Blake Townsend while the Alabama woman is identified as Yalrick Zeonsha Pride.
In a published article in TRUE CRIME DAILY, police initially said that the 3-year-old boy died due to heat exposure but investigation revealed that the child died from blunt force trauma. During the trial, Townsend testified against Pride and said that he witnessed his girlfriend hit the child with a belt.

Alabama Woman Was Charged and Arrested
According to an article published in FOX News, Townsend and Pride were charged and arrested in relation to the death of the 3-year-old boy. Police authorities arrested them in September 2020 and Townsend was initially charged with capital murder. On the other hand, Pride was charged with child abuse but it was upgraded to capital murder.
Assistant District Attorney Angie Hamilton said, “Today, I saw healing. I saw smiles. I know that they are going to visit Kaiden this afternoon and be able celebrate him and finally release him.”
